How do I sign up for text alerts?
You can sign up for text alerts on the web using our sign up page. Just choose the alerts you want to receive, then provide the required info and submit.

What does it mean when you say "standard message and data rates charged by your wireless provider will apply"?
Because the ways that carriers charge for text alerts can vary, we are required to make this statement. We do not charge you anything for receiving alerts, but you may have to pay extra depending on your phone plan and carrier policies. If you aren't sure about your plan, please check with your carrier.

How can I cancel or change my text alerts?
The easiest way to cancel your alert service is to reply ‘stop’ to one of your alerts. This will cancel your service for that particular alert category. For example, if you are signed up for breaking news and weather and you reply ‘stop’ to a weather alert, you will be removed from the weather alert service. If you want to turn off all alerts, reply to one with 'stop all', and we will cancel all of your alerts.

Sign in using your mobile number and password, then click on the boxes next to the different alerts to either add or remove them.
